mother nature is the typical woman
this past Sunday I went with some friends out to a hip-hop music festival called Rock the Bells. for those of you who live in nyc, for the past week it's been forecasted to rain everyday and it never did....until Sunday. it rained...and it rained a lot. so the entire afternoon I was out in the cold ass rain pumping my fist in the air like a complete idiot...

so the point of this post is not just to talk about how awesome the show was...but to talk about how freakin unpredictable the mother nature is!! I mean I brought my umbrella to work like 2 days in a row and it never rained. even the dedicated professionals via weather.com predicted thunderstorms 2 days in a row...and they were completely wrong. I mean if mother nature is going to show all the signs of a massive down pour, at least bring it damnit!!
its just so typical of women. they say all this jive, then when it comes to actual behavior...they're often times unpredictable and just down right frustratingly erratic. and just when you say "f-it" and go into things without an umbrella or some type of protective shielding device...it wrecks shop like hurricane katrina (it's no coincidence that one of the most devastating hurricanes in US history is named after a female!!) they even have "trained professionals" (aka therapists) to help you deal with the unpredictablability of the femalion species, but the hard reality is that you just never know!!!
so my question is: why are women so unpredictable?!

Dude, this is just redonkidonk. Guys are so just as sporadic if not more so. I spent Saturday night consoling one of my female friends b/c her man blew her off after a day of drinking with his buddies despite the fact that he says he wants a serious relationship and wants to spend more time together. P.S. She came in from the Bronx specifically to hang out with him. Made me so glad that I did not have any men in my life! Believe me, we get it back too!

The weather may be unpredictable... but look at the lengths men have gone through to conquer it. Consider for a minute the time, energy and money spent through the centuries on everything from rain dances to Doppler 500 systems (and the marketing around them).
Women do well to take a page from Mother Nature. If we stuck to a predictable 10 day forecast, men would pack umbrellas accordingly and ultimately and lose interest.
And your photos suggest you had a great time despite not being prepared for any of it! ;)
